Five scholars from University of Detroit Mercy share why they are thankful for the ReBUILDetroit program.

In this video, scholars highlight the support ReBUILDetroit provides including financial, mentoring and the connection to the scientific world.

Aleksandar Tasich is thankful for the financial support the program provides. He recognizes how the program diversifies his knowledge about the sciences.

Anthony Croft and Christina Jones cite examples of student support and mentoring available to scholars.

"I am very thankful for ReBUILDetroit," says Kathrine Yacco. "It has given me the confidence to say that I am a scientist."

"So here were more than just friends, we're family," says Tamia Waller. "Thank you!"
