The overall purpose of the Coordination and Evaluation Center (CEC) at UCLA is to provide the Diversity Program Consortium 's grantees with coordination and operational support, conduct data coordination/collection and program evaluation, and disseminate best practices.  The CEC is comprised of four cores, the Administrative Core (AC), the Data Coordination Core (DCC), the Evaluation Core (EC) and a new Communication and Dissemination Core (CDC) in recognition of the expanded growth of the DPC and the critical importance of both internal DPC communications and disseminating best practices.

In Phase II, the CEC will help develop infrastructure to house resources such as a publications library, DPC Hallmarks of Success library, toolkits, data briefs, and a variety of digital media products that will help disseminate best practices, lessons learned, and success stories of the DPC. The CEC will continue administering the Enhance Diversity surveys, gathering data to help evaluate DPC success.

The Diversity Program Consortium Coordination and Evaluation Center at UCLA is supported by Office of the Director of the National Institutes of Health / National Institutes of General Medical Sciences under award number U54GM119024.
